January 21

January 21, 2012~

"The world asks, 'What does a man own?' Christ asks, 'How does he use it?' " ~Andrew Murray
At the end of your life on earth you will be evaluated and rewarded according to how well you handled what God entrusted to you.” ~Rick Warren
Today we decided to visit another church and had the opportunity to hear an inspiring sermon, on stewardship, by Dick Hanson. It was the last sermon in a series of five. We had been able to hear two others, in the series, so it was nice to hear the final one. It was very thought provoking. A sermon like it makes you think and want to go home and keep studying.
Happy For A Reason Reasons:
1.       A very good, thought provoking sermon.
2.       A walk with Ron with no rain! There was water nearly everywhere-fields, driveways, alongside the roads. (At least it has moved off the roads!)
3.       A lovely visit with our friends and neighbors, Sam and Gerri.
4.       I could help Gerri with a computer problem.
5.       It has been a lovely day!
Scenes from our walk...

The lane in front of our property...
Our growing "little" pond....
Christmas Tree "Lake".....

A neighbor's driveway...
...and riding arena!

My sweetheart!

Our friendly neighborhood pony...

A new creek through our yard....

...yet another creek that unsually isn't....
What a little snow, followed by rain will do!
