October 1, 2011~

I do believe that Fall has arrived in Oregon. For now, it is cold, grey, and drizzly weather outside, but I know the leaves on the trees will soon be bursting with fall colors. To me the spectacular fall colors are like the years final smile, a second spring.  I love to go for walks on days when the sun is shining, the air crisp, with the smell of smoke coming from the neighborhood chimneys.

Happy For A Reason Reasons:

1.       Changing seasons.

2.       Fall colors, yet to come.

3.       Grey drizzly weather doesn’t stay forever.

4.       A blackberry pie made especially for Ron and me, by my friend and neighbor Gerri.

5.       I could help my folks out by lending them the van for a day.
