The early morning east wind is blowing as I stand on the front porch looking towards Mount Hood. The breeze feels wonderful! It is the perfect temperature and it is only seven in the morning. That can only mean one thing, 90 plus weather by afternoon! Oh dear…. I guess I better enjoy it while it lasts! I think it is going to be the perfect day for a hike to a waterfall, on Mount Hood. One of the hikes we had talked about doing was out because of a fire. Looks like no hiking on the trail around the mountain until the rains come and puts the fire out as well as lowering the risk of fires.

Happy For A Reason Reasons:

1.       The beauty of the early morning sunrise!

2.       The relaxing, early morning breeze, and the sounds of the birds sing their morning songs.

3.       A great place to escape to so I can avoid the soaring temperatures.

4.       A wonderful time hiking with Ron and his brother Paul!

5.       The beauty we found at the end of the trail!
