July 8, 2011 ~

Each of my days off have been split up, with errands to run for this or that. Today was no different, except for the fact that in so doing, I also met a very nice family who let 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 live through their lives. I like how The Living Bible paraphrases it.

“Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love  someone you will be loyal to  him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him”                                     ~1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Happy For A Reason reasons:

1.      A van to use for transporting Alissa and a friend where they needed to go.

2.      I met a very nice family who lives their faith.

3.      My neighbor boy came over to do yard work!

4.      A nice visit this evening with neighbors Sam and Gerri.

6.      A bowl of strawberries, peaches and ice cream! Yummy!
